It’s not everyday we have to deal with these types of social issues or similar, but it would be remiss of us not to have a statement on the Coronavirus.
We by no means, are healthcare specialists, or experts in diseases and the world. We are just simple human-beings and we want to help and do our part.
So with that in mind, we have a few things that you should be (and most likely are) aware of;
- Please listen to your local government’s advice around self-isolation, and what is happening in your country
- Please continue to regularly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds
- Hand sanitiser is great, but only works effectively on clean hands!
- Please be mindful about coughing and sneezing into your hands, and try to either use a tissue or the crook of your elbow.
In addition, if you are a vulnerable person, someone who is at high risk of catching the disease, or an elderly person, please stay in contact with your family and local authorities for support wherever possible.
Whilst the QuickBox team are not counsellors, trained physiologists or similar, the team and I are here to listen about any issues you wish to raise with us personally. We will try and find local help to your area and point you in the direction of expert help.
We are a community, and we will look after each other. If you need help, then please ask. We’ll do our bit to help.
EDIT: Just in case anyone is wondering, all our staff already work remotely in an international team and so our operations will continue as normal and we can advise wherever possible.
