The QuickBox DNS service is a top level domain service in which you can manage your QuickBox server outside of your local network.

Instead of connecting to the dashboard via your IP Address (e.g. 192.168.0.0) you would connect to your dashboard via a domain name which is managed by the QuickBox team.

This domain name would be <qb###>.quickbox.io which can be used anywhere as long as you have an internet connection and an internet browser.

You would only need to provide the IP address of your server to the QuickBox staff and it can take up to 4 hours for the system to go live, however, being able to manage your dashboard from anywhere in the world can be extremely useful especially when there are issue.

The QuickBox DNS service is only a one-time purchase of $5 and works with both the Community and Pro versions.
