It’s been a long time coming, and today I’m thrilled to finally share what we’ve been building behind the scenes for nearly two years. The all-new v4 Dashboard is here, and with it, a completely reimagined platform experience at our new home: v3.quickbox.io.
A New Home for QuickBox Pro
If you haven’t already heard, we’re moving. v3.quickbox.io is now the official home of QuickBox Pro — purpose-built from the ground up to deliver the experience our community deserves.
Within the next week, all new payments and account registrations will cease on quickbox.io. New users and renewals will be directed to v3.quickbox.io to set up their accounts going forward. This isn’t just a domain change — it’s a complete platform evolution.
The new features and improvements are honestly too numerous to list in a single article, but here’s a taste of what’s waiting for you:
- Better license and subscription management — streamlined, transparent, and entirely in your control
- Server telemetry at a glance — see quick details about your activated servers without ever needing to SSH in
- Massively improved performance — faster page loads, faster API responses, faster everything
- Modern, polished interface — built with the latest technologies and designed for the way you actually use QuickBox
For those who want a deeper look at the platform transition itself, we covered the full details in our earlier announcement: QuickBox Pro Platform Evolution: Moving to v3.quickbox.io.
The v4 Dashboard
This is the big one. The v4 Dashboard has been meticulously refactored from the ground up — and I mean from the ground up. This isn’t a facelift or a patch job on top of the old PHP dashboard. It’s a completely new application, built with a modern stack (React, TypeScript, Fastify) and designed to be faster, more reliable, and more extensible than anything we’ve shipped before.
This dashboard represents the culmination of years of user and community feedback. Every feature request, every pain point, every "it would be nice if…" conversation — we listened, we took notes, and we built it into v4. After almost two years of behind-the-scenes development (squeezed in whenever I could find the time), I’m genuinely proud of what this has become.
The new dashboard marks an exciting new chapter in the ongoing legacy that is QuickBox Pro. It’s not just an update — it’s a statement about where we’re headed and the level of quality our users can expect going forward.
How to Get the v4 Dashboard
The new v4 Dashboard will be available in the next upcoming release this weekend. To upgrade, simply run:
qb update dashboard
This will migrate your current v3 dashboard to the brand new v4 dashboard automatically.
Important — update your bookmarks: Because this is a completely new framework, the dashboard URL has changed. After updating, you’ll access your dashboard at a new link — no more .php:
https://your-server-or-domain/login
The old PHP dashboard URLs will no longer work, so make sure to update your bookmarks and any saved links accordingly. Once you’re at the new login page, sign in with your existing credentials and you’re all set.
A Note on Pricing
I want to be upfront about this: subscription pricing is going up. The new standard price will be $7.99/month. Right now, we’re running a launch sale at $6/month — so if you’ve been on the fence, now is the time.
This is the first time we have ever raised the price of a QuickBox Pro subscription. Period. It’s not a decision I take lightly, but it’s a necessary one to sustain the pace of development and continue delivering the kind of improvements you’ve seen with v4 and the new platform. The price increase does not come without great reward — the sheer scope of what’s been rebuilt, improved, and added speaks for itself.
If you’re an existing subscriber migrating from quickbox.io to v3.quickbox.io, your current monthly or yearly pricing will be grandfathered. You won’t pay a cent more than what you’re paying today. This is our way of saying thank you for being here, for your patience, and for your continued support through this transition.
What’s Next
This launch is just the beginning. The new platform and v4 dashboard give us a foundation we can build on for years to come — and we have plenty planned. Stay tuned.
If you haven’t already, head over to v3.quickbox.io and see what’s new. I think you’ll like what you find.
