Summary
In this article, we aim to provide you with the necessary information about the login screen before you get into the dashboard.
Login Page
This is the standard login screen. Here you can sign in using the username and password you generated after installing QuickBox Pro. The username and password are those of your choosing and are not linked to your actual QuickBox.IO account. If you have not installed QuickBox Pro, then please check out this guide on installation.
The default time set for the “Remember Me” cookie is set to 14 days. This can be changed at any time within the Session Settings page from your Dashboard.
Forgot Password
After you have installed QuickBox, the default login page will not have the option to reset a forgotten password. This option will become available once you have entered in your SMTP credentials on the Email Settings page from your Dashboard.
User Registration
After you have installed QuickBox, the default login page will not have the option to “Create an account”. This option will become available once you have enabled Account Activations on the Registration Settings page from your Dashboard.
As the system administrator, it is not required to enable user registration to create new users. This option is only for those that wish to enable frontend user registration. More on that in the User Management section of the Knowledge Base.
Clicking on “Create an account” will take users to the registration form. Here, users can signup with their desired username, password, and email information.
Logged in : Account Page
This is the logged in page in which you can access various parts of the software. This is where you can access either the Application Dashboard, or the System Dashboard as the system administrator. Non-Admin users will not see links listed for Admin.
You can change the Landing Page option within the General Settings Page. You will have the option to either point users to their account pages, or directly to the Software Dashboard. More on that in the Settings section of the Knowledge Base.
