A Reel Media Nerd Hangout: #watch-recommendations and the Reel Riddle

🎬 A Reel Media Nerd Hangout: say hello to #watch-recommendations, and the Reel Riddle

If you run a media server, you probably have opinions about what to watch next. We built a place for them. #watch-recommendations is a new channel in the QuickBox Discord, open to our verified members, for movie and TV talk - what you are watching, what everyone else should queue up this weekend, and a resident film nerd in QBXWatcher who talks back.

Here is the short version. /rec search any title and you get a full card with the poster, cast, ratings, and links, plus 👍 and 👎 so the community can vote titles up or down; /rec top keeps a running board of what this community actually likes. @-mention QBXWatcher and it chats films and TV with you in plain prose and follows the conversation. And then there is Reel Riddle: typically once a day the bot hides a movie or show behind four clues that unlock over a few hours, you guess it from the card, and the fewer clues you needed the more points you score - with streaks, a new 🎬 Reel Riddle board on /leaderboard, four badges to earn, and a reveal that names the solvers and kicks off the trivia.

Verify your license if you have not yet, come find the channel, and come argue about movies with us. The full write-up covers every command, how a round works, and how the scoring shakes out:
