Over the past couple of days, I have been working on simplifying the locations of informative resources. The past iterations of the QuickBox Wiki along with the QuickBox FAQs were a bit cumbersome with the modules being two separate entities. This made the back and forth a bit of a grind while trying to add in new content. Since I am usually busy these days with both work and the development of QuickBox Pro, the grind of the process left me in a state of, “I’d rather not”.
Well, today I am pleased to announce that the Wiki and the FAQs have been combined into one resource; queue the QuickBox Knowledge Base!
Where to find the FAQs?
The FAQ now resides as a category within the Knowledge Base, you can find them here.
A nice feature added to this combined resource is a better handling of searching out related topics via the new Knowledge Base search bar.
Another added feature that makes these resources easier to attain is how we’ll handle and display categories and topics in general. The past iteration didn’t display the categories, nor their subsequent topics in an intuitive manner. With our new knowledge base, we’ll be able to display categories and their underlying topics, making it less bulky and time consuming in both creating and finding information.
With all that being said, there will be substantial updates in the coming days to both the FAQ, as well as the Knowledge Base. I will be pulling in more frequently asked questions and updating the Wiki’s that are currently posted to the Forums.
