QuickBox Pro – v0.5.+

QuickBox v0.5.+ is one of our largest compiled releases to date! Packed with some awesome enhancements, several awesome features adding convenience, and a lot of bug fixes. I figured it would be great to go into a bit more detail on just what this release offers, as well as to discuss next release goals and future wishes.

Part of what makes QuickBox so wonderful is the Community. With a big focus on communication we have decided to bring back IRC and thrown a cherry on top with our new on-site private ticketing system! Looks like 420 is turning out to be a big day already!

QuickBox Pro has officially be granted a launch date! Set your calendars for 4/20/2018 as the big day. There is still more to be done, but as I near the finish line on development, it only seems right for it's official announcement.

Forum [plaza.quickbox.io] Maintenance at 10PM UTC

We're going to be doing a thorough round of maintenance on the forum database starting here within the hour. We've noticed an anomaly that is causing a spike on our server CPU resulting in slow loading times on processes and pages through the QuickBox Forums.

It's not that we're scared of the Tunaki, nor that we are obsessed with Cthulhu and the Octocat will do as a fine substitute. We are retiring our self-hosted Gitlab due to a few major differences in the two source code hosting facilities. Let's outline them below, then we'll discuss how this may effect you.
